In the modern world, media education is examined as a process of development of personality with a help and on materials of mass media. It is used with the purpose to form communication culture with mass media, to form creative, communicative capabilities, critical thinking, and abilities of valuable perception, interpretation, analysis and estimation of media texts, to teach the different forms of self-expression through media technique. Media literacy helps a man actively to use possibilities of the informative field of television, radio, video, cinema, press, Internet and it helps person to understand the language of media culture better. Thinking about media literacy, I understand that not all media content increase my level of media literacy and many of them even provide more confusion about the meaning of media messages. It has a place in our media sphere because different broadcasts or print medias give people incorrect information and influence on public opinion in such way.
